Air Jordan 9 Retro DB GS 'Doernbecher'

Oswaldo Jimenez built this Air Jordan 9 grade school as part of the 2012 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. The white leather base of the high-top is accentuated on the eyelets with metallic gold components, detailing of the contrast stitch, and branding of Jumpman. Gold is also used on the lasered feather pattern that marks the black leather overlays, a nod to his nickname ' Pollito. ' His favourite number, 17, and his birthday, September 13, are also displayed, and the translucent outsole shows green splashes below — a homage to the Mexican hometown of the young designer.
